I build tools around language, cities and attention. Right now that means three things: Verbarie, bilingual dictionaries for e-readers; Plaqat, an app for cultural events in Paris; and Greyscale Gulls, a slow research project about teaching people to identify gulls.

They have one thing in common: I like problems where the hard part is the data, not the interface. Where being right matters more than being fast, and where the finished thing is only worth anything if it can be trusted.
