2Why the fast answer fails
To write
The fast answer is one aggregator showing what was filed with it, and what was paid to sit at the top. Write out the consequence: the small hall that publishes only on its own site does not exist there, and that is where the interesting thing usually is.
3The hard part

Thirty-odd venue sources, each with its own page structure and its own idea of what a date is. Deduplication when the same evening arrives twice. Geocoding. The consent ladder for scraping.
4Product decisions

Three to five decisions with their trade-offs. Candidates: a scraper per venue instead of one shared pipe, which costs maintenance and buys coverage; no ticketing inside, so the visit ends elsewhere; no infinite surface — follow and saved lists are retrieval, not browsing; outgoing clicks and attended events as the measure rather than daily returns.
5Where it is now
The public beta opened on 13 August 2026. The web app runs at plaqat.app; the iOS build is on TestFlight and takes a minute to install. Both carry the same listings.
